We require a profile filled out on Paw Partner (see our Make a Reservation tab at our menu). Along with a profile we require the DHLPP (Distemper), Rabies, Bordatella (Kennel Cough) and a negative fecal test. The fecal test needs to be negative which is then good for a year with us. At this time a fecal test is only required for boarding, daycare and training clients. Grooming only clients will not need a fecal test done unless they would also like a playtime along with their groom – individually or as a group.

 

For daycare and boarding clients we require a behavioral assessment. This is free for a half day and offered Monday-Thursday from 7am-12pm or 1pm-6pm, when space is available. A reservation for future boarding and daycare appointments can only be made after the assessment is complete.

We realize that plans change, and wish to accommodate all of our customer’s needs. As a courtesy to our other customers and staff, please notify us of your cancellation as soon as possible. There is no cancellation fee at this time.

Yes, our custom outfitted van is available to transport your pet 7 days a week during regular business hours as long as you live within the metro area. Please call our concierge at (605) 232-3647 to schedule. Cost is $10 one way per household, if transported within Wynstone, Dakota Dunes, and North Sioux City areas; $20 one way per household, if transported within Sioux City, South Sioux City, and Sergeant Bluff areas. Transports are limited to staff available and bad weather.

Special arrangements may be made in advance for early arrival or late departure for a charge of $10 during business hours and $20 after business hours, because we know how much you missed your pet while you were away.

Pets not picked up by closing time will be considered overnight guests and charged the standard boarding rate for that evening.

For our canine guests, each room includes a comfortable bed and bowls. Guests receive room service twice a day; housekeeping is once a day or as necessary. Snacks are provided throughout the day, unless we are otherwise instructed. Bathroom breaks are given 4 times a day to all canine guests. Weather depending will permit how long the bathroom break is, but typically 20 minutes for each potty break. Our canine guests will enjoy daily, supervised and extended playgroups with guests of like size and play style. Those dogs who do not participate in group play with get individual attention with our caretakers or group play with smaller group of dogs. Dogs staying for 5 nights or more, will receive a complimentary bath and brushing before checking out.

For our feline guests, we offer a cozy cat condo with multiple levels for play and a private litter box. Guests receive room service twice a day; housekeeping once a day or as necessary and short play or cuddles. Treats will also be provided unless we are otherwise instructed.

Day Stay is an alternative to day care for dogs who need private socialization instead of interacting in our regular play groups. Guests will enjoy their own private room for the day, which includes an individual play or small group play with a few friends – as well as standard hotel amenities.

For our canine guests, we require a veterinarian certificate indicating proof of vaccination for Rabies, DHLPP, Bordetella, and a yearly fecal test (needs to be negative). For our feline guests, we require a veterinarian certificate indicating proof of Rabies and DHLPP. cats 6 months old to 1 year will also need the feline leukemia vaccine.

A 14 day waiting period is required after the first administration of a vaccine or if it has expired. Your vet can fax us a copy at 605-232-8909. Please make sure we have the vaccination documentation 24 hours prior to check-in.

All guests must be treated with an effective form of flea control treatment.

All guests must be 12 weeks or older. To join day care, they must be spayed or neutered, unless under 6 months of age. Females over the age of 6 months will be eligible for small group play if/until they are spayed. Males over the age of 6 moths to 1 year old can stay in daycare as long as they aren’t causing issues. Once over 1 year old they will be eligible for small group play if or until they are neutered.

Yes. We can administer any non-injectable medication free of charge. Please make sure the medications are clearly labeled and dosage instructions are included.

Your pet’s health and safety are of the highest importance; we have established procedures to ensure that we are ready if a pet experiences a health situation while in our care. In the event we need to discuss something with you, we will call you immediately unless instructed otherwise by you, the owner. If veterinary assistance is needed , we will transport your pet to your preferred vet.

Yes. Housekeeping will launder any washable items prior to your pet’s return home. Please make sure these items have permanent identification. Your pet may bring toys that will stay with them in their suite, we do not allow tennis balls or other smaller toys in suites as it is a choking hazard.

We can accommodate your wishes and board your pets together in the same room or suite, as space allows. Overnight guests sharing a room will receive a discounted rate – $25 per dog a night after the first dog. Guests sharing a room must be from the same family or living together; dogs may not share a room with a cat.

Please bring your dog on a leash as we allow dogs who don’t like other dogs. Cats should be transported in a cat carrier. As many pets are sensitive to sudden dietary changes, we believe it’s best for you to provide your pet’s regular food. By request, we can prepare specialized meals including heating up food, mixing food, refrigerating food and freezing food if required. If you forget your food, you can purchase food from our retail store.

You are always welcome to call and check on your pet. We post pictures on our Paw Partner app daily and tag you in them so you get notified with a push notification or an email. We also offer daily photo updates for $5 a day.

We offer webcam access of our facilities to our guests. Message us on Paw Partner or call us for more information.
