Where are you located?

We are conveniently accessible from Interstate 29. (Exit 4; McCook Lake), just west of the Dakota Valley Schools and minutes from downtown Sioux City.

Do you provide shuttle service?

Yes, our custom outfitted van is available to transport your pet Monday through Friday as long as you live within the metro area. Please call our concierge at (605) 232-3647 to schedule. Cost is $10 one way, per household.

What are your check-in and check-out times for hotel stays and day care?

For the hotel, you may check in anytime after 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday; and 1:00 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. Check out is by 12:00 p.m. the last day of the stay. Special arrangements may be made in advance for early departure and late arrivals; day care rates may apply. Day care/day stay check-ins begin at 6:30 a.m. Guests may choose a full day or a half day( 6 hours or less). All day care/day stay guests must be picked by 6:30 p.m. If your guest is not picked up by this time, hotel rates will apply.

What do I need to make a reservation?

What are your stay requirements?

For our canine guests, we require a veterinarian certificate indicating proof of vaccination for Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella. For our feline guests, we require a veterinarian certificate indicating proof of Rabies, FELV, and FVRCP.

A 7 day waiting period is required after the first administration of a vaccine or if it has expired. Your vet can fax us a copy at 605-232-8909. Please make sure we have the vaccination documentation 24 hours prior to check-in.

All guests must be treated with an effective form of flea control treatment.

All guest must be 4 months or older. To join daycare, they must be spayed or neutered, unless under 7 months of age. Once they are over 7 months of age they must be spayed or neutered in order to socialize with the other guests in daycare.

Day care guests will require a brief daycare behavior assessment to ensure the safety of all our guests. This assessment must be scheduled in advance, so please call to let us know when you would like to visit us.

How is Day Stay different from Day Care?

Day Stay is an alternative to day care for dogs who need private socialization instead of interacting in play groups. Guests will enjoy their own private room for the day, which includes 3 individualized play sessions as well as standard hotel amenities.

What should I bring with my pet?

Please bring your dog on a leash. Cats should be transported in a cat carrier. As many pets are sensitive to sudden dietary changes, we believe it's best for you to provide your pet's regular food. By request, we can prepare specialized meals, including cooking and thawing if required. If you forget your food, you can purchase food from our retail store.

Will you give my pet their medications?

Yes. We can administer any non-injectable medication free of charge. Please make sure the medications are clearly labeled and dosage instructions are included.

What happens if my pet has a medical emergency?

Your pet's health and safety are of the highest importance; we have established procedures to ensure that we are ready if a pet experiences a health situation while in our care. In the event we need to discuss something with you, we will call you immediately unless instructed otherwise by you, the owner. If veterinary assistance is needed , we will transport your pet to your preferred vet.

Can I bring my pet's bed and toys?

Yes. Housekeeping will launder any washable items prior to your pet's return home. Please make sure these items have permanent identification. Your pet may bring up to two toys that will stay with them in their rooms.

What is included in the daily overnight rate for my dog?

For our canine guests, each room includes a comfortable bed and bowls. Guest receive room service twice a day; housekeeping is once a day or as necessary. Snacks are provided throughout the day, unless we are otherwise instructed. Our canine guests will enjoy twice daily, supervised and extended playgroups with guests of like size and play style. Dogs staying for 5 nights or more, will receive a complimentary bath and brushing before checking out.

What is included in the daily boarding rate for my cat?

For our feline guests, we offer a cozy cat condo with multiple levels for play and a private litter box. Guests receive room service twice a day; housekeeping once a day or as necessary. Treats will also be provided unless we are otherwise instructed.

What if I need to cancel my reservation?

We realize that plans change, and wish to accommodate all of our customer's needs. But as a courtesy to our other customers, please notify us of your cancellation 24 hours in advance for non-holidays and one week in advance for holidays.

Other than day care and boarding, what other services do you offer?

Guest can also enjoy our full-service salon and spa, training sessions (group, private and in-hotel), and a retail boutique.

Do you offer grooming and training for dogs that are not currently staying at your hotel?

Yes, please call our concierge at (605) 232-3647 to schedule an appointment.

Can my pets stay together in one room?

We can accommodate your wishes and board your pets together in the same room or suite, as space allows. Overnight guests sharing a room will receive a discounted rate. Guests sharing a room must be from the same family; dogs may not share a room with a cat.

I know I will miss my pet; can I call to check on him/her?

You are always welcome to call and check on your pet. We can also send you a text or email if you wish. Please advise us when you check into the hotel.
